Chairs of ‘regular’ committees are primarily in charge of the well-functioning of the committee, and of the quality of the debate. The first implies a long experience with MUNs and human skills that will allow the Chairs to solve situations between Delegates with care and diplomacy. It also implies a deep knowledge and understanding of the Rules of Procedure (RoP). The second responsibility calls for the Chairs to be experts on the topics being discussed in their committee. They will be the ones writing the Study Guides, which the Content Team will only review.
- Apply for a chairing position via mymun.org. You can submit up to three committee preferences and you will have to lay out topic proposals.
- Depending on the quality of your application, you will be invited for an interview, conducted by the EuroMUN 2018 Content Team.
- After the interview, the Content Team will inform you of its decision.
