The European Council is one of the European Union’s seven main institutions. Established formally in 2009, it is formed of the heads of state or government of the EU member states. It is the body that decodes the overall direction and priorities of the EU and it also sets the EU’s common foreign and security policy.
This will be a medium sized intermediate committee.
