Sebastian is a student at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, where he pursues his Master in European Studies. He has been active in the local UN society “ViaMUN” ever since he came to town right at the Polish-German border, where he also did his Bachelor in Economics. Asides organizing and hosting the annual ViaMUN conference with the local team, Sebastian has attended more than a dozen MUN conferences in Germany and Poland, both as delegate and as chairperson. In 2016, he was appointed Secretary-General at KrakMUN in Cracow, Poland. Recently he has focused on European committees within the MUN circle. However, serving as Co-chair at EuroMUN will be Sebastian’s first appearance in a simulated European Parliament, as well as his first visit to Maastricht and EuroMUN in general. Currently Sebastian is attending a semester within the Erasmus+ program at the University of Groningen where he already gets acquainted with Dutch culture, which shall make the adaptation at EuroMUN a little easier for him.
Besides politics and society, Sebastian is interested in football and fan culture, photography and fine spirits, especially Whisky. He is looking forward to the experience EuroMUN and is convinced that the 2019 edition of EuroMUN will be good vintage.
